Construction wood

Green wood used in the construction of buildings can be seasoned and/or unseasoned. The most popular is seasoned wood with a moisture level of 16-20%. The dried wood is more appropriate for construction because of its features. Such timber is featured by stability, durability and can withstand a heavy load. Besides, it has resistance to mould, fungal, does not turn blue. This is especially important for construction, as, for example, used for roof structures, unseasoned timber deforms (dries and shrinks), and rot may occur.
